Snow Sport and Spine is a "cash-based" physical therapy practice. Although we ask you to pay for services at the time you receive them, our fees are often less than fees of physical therapy offices that accept insurance. This saves you money if you don't have insurance or have high deductibles.

Side-by-Side Fees

Commonly, appointments at the “Other Provider” are 30 minutes long for one-on-one care and the patient is seen for 2-3 treatments per week. At Snow Sport and Spine, we achieve better results with longer, 60-minute sessions. Not only are you saving approximately $284 an hour but you are reducing visits to the clinic.

Our patients’ average six(6) one-on-one, hour-long visits, totaling $1080 for a physical therapy treatment plan. The cost at the “Other Provider” accepting insurance would be approximately $2,664-2,784, for 12 one-on-one, 30-minute visits. Depending on your insurance plan, you may get reimbursed for some of your out-of-pocket expense.

  • For those without insurance, that's a savings of 59%

  • For those with a high deductible, the savings is similar

  • For patients with regular insurance and copays:

  • Average specialist co-pay would be approximately $40 per visit or $480, for a 12-treatment series

  • Average co-insurance is approximately 25% or $666

  • Out of pocket expense is approximately $1,518

  • Your savings could range up to $400 depending on your co-pay and the charges

  • You also save the time and convenience of not having to go to the PT clinic several times a week
